I made my first zippered pillow thanks to this tutorial using some leftover yellow & white polka dot fabric from binding my quilt and it turned out great, . I will post pictures once the sun decides to come out again.
I plan on making a gazillion more of them now that I know how easy they are to sew up. I have four fat quarters left from my Strawberry Fields bundle so that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.
In the process of making this pillow, I discovered the overcasting foot on my sewing machine. I think I'm in love. It sews and finishes the edge all at the same time. Baby, where have you been all my life???
