I finished up my Square Dance quilt top yesterday:
The pattern is from The Pattern Basket.
The fabric is "Winter's Lane" by Kate & Birdie (Moda fabrics).
The backing is pieced and ready to go:
And because I seem to be perpetually infected with the You-Might-As-Well virus when it comes to fabric shopping, a few other things jumped into my cart when I ordered the backing fabric. These are from the "Baby Jane" collection by Cosmo Cricket:
I know I need to go into work tomorrow (despite it being Canada Day long weekend) so I intend to take full advantage of today: quilt, watch NHL draft, afternoon snooze....not necessarily in that order!

when I first clicked on your blog, the second photo actually loaded before the first and I thought the block pattern looked way to simple and why would someone bother, but then the full view of the quilt in the first photo loaded and I realized the simplicity is decieving, it it a gorgeous quilt! I love the choice of fabrics! I can actually see myself making one or two or three of these as baby quilts! Thanks for opening my eyes!
