I've been trying to blog but for some reason Blogger wouldn't let me post pictures from my laptop. That's too bad because I've been working on some pretty stuff lately!
I did manage to snap a picture of Sophie with my iPod (which Blogger seems to have no issues with) so if you like, I can entertain you with the Morning Ritual that happens around here...
So the alarm clock goes off and I haul my butt out of bed to get ready for work. I keep asking Tucker when he's going to get a job and let me stay home all day but to date, he refuses to even pull out the want-ads. He apparently likes being a kept puppy.
Tucker and Sophie both sleep on the bed with me, right up near the pillows, so extricating myself from under the duvet and the quilt and my Westie bookends takes a minute or two. Once I'm ready to go, I say "okay, let's go outside" and two things happen:
1) Tucker leaps off the bed like a shot because I've said two of his favourite words: GO and OUTSIDE. He charges up the stairs to be let outside and spins around staring at me because I'm taking too long.
2) Sophie lifts her head off the bed, does the patented terrier head tilt, and plops her head back down. "Outside? Are you kidding me?? It's -32 with the windchill and you want me to leave this warm, soft, snuggly bed to go out there -- barefoot and buck naked -- just so you can get to that job thingy that makes you abandon me for eight hours straight? You're not very bright, are you?"

Thanks for the smile. I don't have dogs but Cricket; my cat, does the same thing Sophie does. "What? Me go outside in the cold? No thanks, I'm purrfectly happy on this soft cushy bed."
ReplyDeleteThere is a way to post, it is a long drawn out process... you have to post your photos to Picasa then transfer them to Picasa Web Albums then download from there... I am considering moving my blog to another provider.
